The first shipments of the new LA101 CrossOver rifle have left Lithgow, destined for distributor Winchester.
Australian shooters can now get their hands on one of the new rifles, which have generated significant interest in the shooting community.
Graham Evenden, Lithgow Arms’ Sales and Marketing Director, said: “This is a great moment for us, and the result of much hard work over the past 18 months. Production has been ramping up over the last few weeks, and we’ve been working hard to get these new Australian-made rifles into the hands of shooters as soon as possible.”
“On behalf of the Lithgow Arms team, I’d like to thank everyone out there not only for their patience, but also for all the ideas and insights they gave us during the CrossOver’s development. It’s much appreciated, and we hope they enjoy using the finished product.”
Winchester Australia General Manager Clive Pugh said: “As the CrossOver’s distributor, we’re really pleased to see these rifles going out the factory door and into our trucks. We’ve had a lot of people asking our retailers about them, and have every expectation they’ll do really well with customers. The Crossover is a quality product made in Australia – one that will deliver many years of enjoyable shooting.”
Lithgow Arms will be exhibiting at Booth #8 at the SHOT Expo, 21-22 June, Sydney.
